Students of the School of Economics and Management won the Silver Award in the 2024 Cross-Straits, Hong Kong and Macao Business Case Analysis Competition

News network(Contributed by Tang Jia for Photo Tang Jia)Recently, the 2024 Business Case Analysis Competition on the Mainland, Hong Kong and Macao jointly sponsored by the Commercial Industry Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the University of Hong Kong was successfully concluded at the University of Hong Kong。Our school of Economics and Management students Wu Liangze, Liu Yuxin, Zhu Tingting，The "Leap Team" composed of instructors Cao Caixia and Tang Jia，It stood out in the fierce competition with 12 teams from 11 universities including Jilin University, East China Normal University, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, City University of Hong Kong, and University of Hong Kong，Won the silver prize of this competition。
The invited participants in this competition are the teams that have performed well in the innovation and entrepreneurship competition of the National University Business Elite Challenge。Five members of the "Leap team" had previously won the first prize of the national Finals in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition of the National University Business Elite Challenge。During the preparation for this competition, they have been carefully guided by their instructors in terms of professional knowledge, case analysis, and presentation defense。During the winter vacation, the team members overcame the difficulties such as tight time and heavy tasks. Through self-study and group discussion, and many exchanges and discussions with the instructor, they finally completed the analysis report with high quality, taking "Guizhou Phosphating Group" as the analysis object and ESG as the main analysis framework。
This competition once again fully demonstrated the excellent professional ability and excellent comprehensive quality of the participating team of the School of Economics and Management of our university。This is not only a vivid embodiment of the School of Economics and Management adhering to the "four-in-one" education concept of value shaping, ability training, knowledge imparts, and exemplary leadership, but also marks a solid step in the construction of the School of Economics and Management in the integration of competition and education curriculum system。The School of Economics and Management will take this as a new starting point to further strengthen practical teaching, deepen the integration of specialized innovation and competition education, and strive to cultivate high-quality applied talents with all-round development of morality, intelligence, physical fitness, the United States and labor。
