The robot laboratory is located in the innovation Building 206, with an area of about 100 square meters, and its teaching robot suite contains many sensors, electronic modules, such as photoelectric sensors, sound sensors, temperature sensors, infrared sensors, etc。These sensors are powerful, complete a variety of tasks without them, very attractive to students, in practice, middle school students should think positively, how to apply these advanced technologies, in order to better complete the task, to provide students with a rich imagination and creative space。The robot lab can cultivate students' hands-on and mental ability。


Laboratory functions: The robot laboratory enables students to understand the internal links between majors and courses,Let students not only understand the basic knowledge of educational robots,At the same time, it can carry out some training of various robots on a certain basis,In the process of teaching practice,At the same time, it provides the related practice of industrial robots,Gain knowledge of robotics from teaching to industrial practice。At the same time of practice, we also provide robot simulation software, so that students can deepen their understanding of robot construction and robot application in the virtual world。

The School of Intelligent Engineering is committed to encouraging students to participate in various competitions, including electronics competitions, robot competitions, etc. The robot lab provides a complex process of robot construction, assembly, programming and debugging。Especially when participating in the robot competition, through the knowledge and hands-on ability learned in the laboratory, students can independently solve the problems occurred on the spot and complete the scheduled competition tasks。

Have a robotics lab。Students can be organized to watch some pictures of robots and video clips of robot competitions in order to stimulate students' interest in learning。Then the teacher led the students to conduct cognitive teaching on the function of the robot. Through humanoid robot, writing robot, crawling robot and other robots, the students were able to understand the basic hardware composition and working principle of the robot, so as to strengthen their interest in the robot。

In this way, in the face of some projects in the robot competition, many excellent robot creative works have been created。

The lab has the following functions:

(1) Provide school-level scientific research platform for industrial robots。The school organized an industrial robot research team, relying on the laboratory to participate in the control software research and development and secondary development of relevant projects of enterprises, which can enhance scientific research ability, technical strength and social service ability。

(2) Enrich the teaching resources of the school to cultivate innovative talents。The industrial robot integrates many disciplinary knowledge, and students from multiple majors in the School of Information Science and Technology and the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering can conduct engineering training and teaching experiments in the laboratory。

(3) Can carry out competition cooperation。The two sides can integrate their own resources and business needs, form a joint robot competition team, and participate in national robot competitions。Through the competition, the school can promote the exploration of the mode of cultivating talents。
