Researchers have discovered a new security vulnerability that stems fromIEEE 802.11 Design flaws in Wi-Fi standards that trick victims into connecting to less secure wireless networks and eavesdropping on their network traffic。The SSID obfuscation attack was traced to CVE-2023-52424, affecting all operating systems and Wi-Fi clients, including WEP, WPA3, 802 based.11X/EAP and AMPE protocols for home and mesh networks。
