The competition attracted a total of Guizhou University, Guizhou Normal University, Guizhou Minzu University, Guizhou Institute of Technology, etcA total of 76 teams from 21 universities participated。Four teams of our school: "Nuocheng Building team, Sky City team, Yunlingxiao Cold Tower team, and Suwei Science and Technology Center team" stood out in the fierce competition with other 20 university teams, two teams won the first prize of the fifth Guizhou Province College Students Structural Design Competition, and two teams won the second prize。This achievement is not only an affirmation of the talent training of Guiyang Information Science and Technology College, but also an affirmation of the students' professional strength and innovation ability, and also won honors for the school。

The contest lasts for two days and the topic is:"Design and Modeling of Tall Tower Structures considering horizontal Vibration"，School of Civil engineering gathers strength，Make full use of our multi-disciplinary advantages in traffic engineering, construction engineering, architecture, and project management，Focus on key professional civil engineering，Through the selection of backbone teachers, the formation of teaching guidance team，Study and analyze the contest questions，Collective preparation issued instructions，According to the design, comprehensive experiment requirements，Guide students to overcome difficulties from the aspects of design purpose, design concept, test materials, experiment content, bridge scheme design and internal force calculation，At the same time to mobilize teachers and students to participate actively，Dare to practice and challenge yourself。Our school sent four teams selected after the school competition to participate in this competition。The participants are required to complete the model design and production independently in a group of 3 people within 10 hours。Experts will evaluate the theoretical scheme, model making, on-site Q&A, loading performance and load ratio。
