Act 1    

Article one  In order to strengthen the management of work-study activities,Maintain normal order in the school,Cultivate students' working ability and social adaptability,Comprehensively improve the overall quality of students,Help students with financial difficulties overcome life difficulties,Finish school better,In accordance with Article 56 of the Higher Education Law of the People's Republic of China, the provisions of Chapter III, Section III of the Regulations on the Administration of Students in Ordinary Institutions of Higher Learning, and the Measures for the Administration of Students in Institutions of Higher Learning for Work-study Assistance[2007] No. 7) and the Regulations on the Administration of Work-Study for Guizhou University Students, this Regulation is formulated in light of the actual situation of the university。

Article 2  Work-study activities mean that students use their spare time through their own labor under the organization of the school,Promote all-round development in moral, intellectual, physical and aesthetic aspects,Increase one's ability,And get some compensation,A variety of services or labor whose primary objective is to cultivate self-reliance and entrepreneurship,It is divided into management type, intelligent type, labor type and service type。The University advocates and supports the organization of students to carry out work-study activities in accordance with the law, and protects students' income from honest labor and service。

Article 3  Work-study programs must be maintainedThe aim of "cultivating ability, serving teachers and students, based on campus, facing society", adheres to the principle of active guidance, standardized management and combining with quality education。

Article 4  Work-study activities must abide by national laws and regulations and university regulations, and be organized under the premise of maintaining campus style and not affecting students' normal learning。No unit or individual shall employ any student to do part-time work without the consent of the student work-study institution, and no individual student shall engage in any business activities on campus without authorization。

Article 5  The students mentioned in these Regulations refer to ordinary full-time school students。

Article 6  Students participating in work-study activities shall abide by laws, regulations and the management system of the school and the employing unit, and fulfill the relevant agreements on work-study activities。

Act 2  Organizational structure

Article 7  The Student work-study Management Office is a specific business organization of the school to manage, guide and provide services for student work-study activities, and belongs to the Student Work Department。The Student work-study Center is a student organization with the work-study Administration Office responsible for managing, guiding and assisting the school in carrying out the work of student work-study。

Article VIII  Responsibilities of the Office of Student Work-Study Administration

(1) To be responsible for the formulation of various rules and regulations and implementation measures of the school's work-study program, and to manage, coordinate and guide the work of the whole school's students in work-study program;

(2) Provide training for students who apply to participate in work-study activities, issue job certificates, and establish a student work-study database;

(3) Recruit and recommend work-study staff, provide intermediary services for students' work-study and employment units or individuals, coordinate the interests of students and employment units or individuals, and urge both parties to perform agreements;

(4) To supervise work-study activities, mediate conflicts and disputes between students and employment units or individuals, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the parties and the reputation of the school according to law, criticize and educate the violations of contract and discipline in work-study activities in accordance with school rules and discipline;

(5) Establish special funds for work-study and properly manage and use them。

(6) To formulate and summarize annual plans for work-study programs;

(7) Responsible for the management and development of work-study sites;

(8) Implementing quality education for students in combination with work-study activities;

(9) Implement other management and service matters related to students' work-study。

The ninth article  All units and individuals on campus and abroad who organize students to carry out work-study activities must report to the work-study Administration Office in advance and can only carry out such activities upon approval。Those who carry out activities without approval shall be reported to the school or relevant departments by the work-study Administration Office according to the specific circumstances。

 

Act 3  Management of work-study activities

Article ten  The combination of unified arrangement and competition for work-study positions should be implemented, with open posts, fair competition and merit-based employment。All students must be students from poor families. If there is no suitable candidate for a special post due to poor families, other students can be selected for the post, but they must be reported to the attendance office for approval in time。

Article 11  Students participate in work-study activities organized by the school, in principle, the implementation of one post, poor students can according to the actual situation, one double post。

Article 12  To participate in work-study activities, students must fill out the Application Form for Work-Study in Mingde College of Guizhou University, which is signed by their department and submitted to the Work-study Management Office for examination and approval. After passing the training and assessment, students can apply for work-study activities。Exceptions are made for temporary, one-time and emergency service activities。

Article 13  Units or individuals who need to hire students to participate in work-study activities can contact the work-study management Office directly, and the work-study Management Office will recommend or arrange suitable students to serve them according to the employment requirements。Without the permission of the competent department of the University, no unit or individual may recruit students to participate in work-study activities or carry out various business activities in the name of work-study activities within the campus。

Article 14  If a student provides work-study service activities to an employer or individual, he/she shall sign an employment contract in triplicate with the other party and submit it to the Work-study Management Office for witness. Each party shall hold one copy and the Work-study Management Office shall file one copy。Exceptions are made for temporary, one-time and emergency service activities。

Article 15  The work study Permit shall be uniformly printed and issued by the Student Work Study Administration Office。Students who drop out, are expelled or graduate must return the work study permit before they can go through the formalities of leaving school。 

Article 16  The Student work-study Management Office dynamically manages and supervises students' work-study activities,Accept complaints from parties concerned,To understand and collect the evaluation opinions of the employer or individual on the service attitude, service quality, knowledge and ability level of the employed students,And inform the student's department,Establish a database of student work-study activities。

 

 

Act Four  Students' rights and obligations in work-study activities

Article 17   Students participating in work-study activities shall have the right to obtain remuneration according to law。The University shall protect the remuneration obtained by the students through honest work, and no unit or individual shall withhold the remuneration of the students。

Article 18  When the school organizes work-study activities, priority should be given to students whose families have financial difficulties, so as to reflect the concern and care of the state and the school for these students。Students can apply directly to the school to participate in the work-study program。

Article 19  When students participate in work-study activities, they shall enjoy labor protection according to law. The employing unit or individual shall provide safety guarantee for students, and shall not impair or in disguised form impair students' legitimate rights and interests in labor protection。

Students have the right to refuse to work in special industries such as high-altitude work, serious pollution, and radiation, which can easily cause harm and danger to the human body

Article 20  Students participating in work-study activities should adhere to the promotion of learning, with work-study as a supplement;With the guiding ideology of increasing knowledge and cultivating ability, supplemented by obtaining economic compensation, attention should be paid to the combination of participating in work-study activities with the cultivation and improvement of quality and all-round talent。Students participating in work-study activities must be based on the premise that they have the ability to study and do not affect their studies. On the principle of using holidays and spare time, the time engaged in work-study activities during the school year shall not exceed one week8小时。

If students participate in work-study activities that affect their studies, the work-study Administration Office has the right to adjust or stop their work-study activities。

Article 21  To participate in work-study activities, students must fulfill the obligations of the relevant agreements on work-study activities, abide by the working system of the employing unit, and complete the work tasks conscientiously and responsibly, in accordance with quality and quantity。

Article 22  Students participating in work-study activities must abide by the laws and regulations of the State, and may not engage in the following activities:

(1) pyramid schemes;

(2) selling fake or inferior products;

(3) selling pornographic books, newspapers, audio-visual materials, electronic books or other articles prohibited by law;

(4) Other activities prohibited by law。

Article 23  Students engaged in work-study activities must abide by social ethics and professional ethics, build a good image of college students, and earnestly fulfill commitments, work responsibly, honest and trustworthy, modest and prudent, civilized and polite, shall not have the following behaviors:

(1) breaking a contract at will;

(2) resorting to fraud and cheating the employing unit;

(3) working passively and delaying time;

(4) Intentionally damage or lose the customer's property;

(5) To demand money or property from customers in the name of work-study;

(6) Make unreasonable demands to the customer outside the scope of the agreement;

(7) Other behaviors that violate social morality or damage the image of college students。

Article 24  Students engaged in work-study activities must abide by the rules and regulations of the university, maintain the reputation of the university, and must not commit the following acts:

(1) absenteeism or non-participation in various collective activities required by the school, department or class in the name of work-study;

(2) staying overnight in the employment unit, or living off-campus without leave approval;

(3) To set up stalls on campus for commodity trading or business activities without permission;

(4) Selling commodities in dormitories, classrooms, libraries or office buildings, which interferes with the normal order of teaching, work and life;

(5) Printing, Posting and distributing commercial advertisements on campus without permission;

(6) Recruiting students to engage in business activities on campus without permission;

(7) Privately carrying out various economic activities in the name of schools or collectives;

(8) Conduct that damages the reputation of the school。

 

 

Chapter Five  Reward and punishment

Article 25  The work-study Administration Office shall commend individuals for outstanding performance in work-study activities in accordance with these Regulations;

Article 26  All consequences and responsibilities arising from students' failure to comply with these Regulations shall be borne and held responsible by students themselves。The school shall deal with students who violate discipline or rules in work-study activities according to the nature, circumstances and consequences of their behavior。

 

 

Act 6    

Article 27  The Student Affairs Department is responsible for the interpretation of these regulations。

Article 28  These Regulations shall come into force on the date of issuance。
